Learn about cannabinoids.

What is
Hemp.

Cannabis sativa

Hemp

Hemp comes from the same plant species as cannabis. However, there is one key difference, it has very low levels of THC, the compound that gets you high in weed. Based on the Farm Bill hemp must contain less than 0.3% THC, making it safe and legal to sell or purchase within the U.S. (check legal status for your location here, varies by State).

Hemp is full of cannabinoids such as CBD, CBG, and more. People might use it for easing constipation, lowering cholesterol, and helping with skin conditions like eczema or arthritis. However, there isn’t any peer-reviewed case studies showing proof to back up these claims yet.

It’s important to understand that Hemp, Canadian hemp, hemp agrimony, cannabis, or CBD are not the same thing. Unlike cannabis, it is completely legal to sell hemp and hemp derived products under federal law within the United States.

Note: Each State may have their own laws and regulations for Hemp and Hemp Products.
