You have the following readily available within the sidebar menu: Orders, Products, Reviews, Customers, Followers, Support, Refund, Analytics, Reports, Payments, Ledger Book, Staff, Settings, Dynamic Rules, Shippo Settings, and of course Logout.

In addition to the sidebar menu there is also a top bar menu on the top right. This menu includes the current Notifications, Messages / Inquiries, Announcements, Guides, and your Profile.

Right away on the dashboard you will be able to see your gross sales, platform fees, how many items sold an how many total orders you have. On the store location page you will need to add an address within the Store Address fields, as well as adding your address within the Store Location, here you can enter your location and pick from a selection of addresses, or drag the pin to an area on the map. Next we will be setting up our shipping services and prices. This next step is super simple and easy to complete. Below you can see what this section looks like and we will be going over it together.

All you need to do is just these 3 simple steps:

  1. Enable Shipping
  2. Select your Processing Time
  3. Select Shipping by Weight from the Shipping Type.

You can leave the remaining settings as is without any issues. We cover these settings in another guide that can be useful for some vendors that offer Local Pickup, offer Free Shipping, and other more advanced settings.

Next we will be going over the SEO or Search Engine Optimization options you have for boosting your store visibility online. These settings will help your store get visits when people are searching for products you sell on Google and other popular search engines. Below you can see what this section looks like.

As a vendor you have the option to target keywords in your SEO Title. For example if you are primarily selling Hemp Drinks and your store name is Julio’s you might want to add an SEO Title as “Julio’s Hemp Drinks” or something more targeted to potential online searches for your product. Additionally be sure to add a Meta Description, this is shown on the search results before someone clicks on your store. Perfect place to talk about what your products are and your services.

Don’t forget to add your keywords as well as setting your Facebook and Twitter card information. This help give you a significant boost in the rankings showcasing your social profiles. As well as having default images that are optimized for when someone shares your store on those social platforms as well.

Moving along to the ShipStation settings page, this is optional for sellers. However you do have to choose either ShipStation or Shippo for creating shipping labels and sending orders. We have found that larger companies that sell on multiple sites use services like ShipStation already to streamline their order fulfillment with employees. Here you will be able to connect your Hemp Mart orders with your ShipStation account. Select order status as Processing, to get orders in your Ship Station that have been paid and awaiting shipment.

Make sure you only export orders with the status of Processing. The Authentication Key is the Auth Keyย you set in ShipStation and allows ShipStation to communicate with your store.
